Carrie Underwood is your American Idol

Carrie Underwood is voted the American Idol, but Bo is still my choice. There's no way Carrie is going to sell more records than Bo. She'll be like another Kelly Clarkson, humming to bubblegum pop & would probably be forgotten among the many up & coming female vocalists.


Bo Bice should have won

It's gonna be different for Bo, he already has his personality & style cemented throughout the season. He's a real rocker, a vocalist whom can make any song sound good & is incredibly humble.

I'm gonna buy Bo's album when it comes out, can't say the same for Carrie.

Baby V Didn't Make It

Vonzell was Amazing

Pity pity, I thought Vonz did second best on Wed night. She's definitely second to Bo (he was absolutely awesome!!!).

In the end, Carrie was way more superior than Baby V in terms of fan base. But that doesn't mean that Vonz was worse off than Carrie. The latter was definitely the weakest link on Wed night. She was obviously uncomfortable with the first song & sounded much worse by the 3rd song.

But Bo was the bomb that night, who doesn't agree?? How many people can pull off an stunning performance without the friggin' band? He's the real thing, if America votes Carrie to be the American Idol; I'm sure Bo would achieve more success than Carrie, just like Clay over Ruben.

It's down to the 2 to compete for the title of American Idol, they have come a long way. Though I must give credit to Carrie for coming this far too, I want Bo to win this. He deserves this more than Carrie & he had definitely outsung Carrie amongst the weeks leading to the finale.

Unlike Scott, it wasn't his time to leave the competition.

He was better than Carrie, maybe even Vonzell this week. He definitely outsung Carrie with the same second song. He showed soul, unlike what Cowell had to say. That faggot, Simon blamed the band for Carrie's lousy performance. I don't think so.

Hopefully, Anthony would continue to pursue his dream & become a recording artiste.

Rocker Wannabe Constantine Sent Home

Hmm, this week's elimination was unexpected. I was guessing Scott, cos he hasn't had a good performance for the longest time I can remember. But, what's done is done, Constantine Maroulis was the 7th to be sent home in American Idol 4.

What i don't get is, Constantine should have a HUGE base of female fans which should put him through this week. BUT, he lost out to the unfavourable Scott.

I was so gutted when Ryan asked both Scott & Constantine to pick a group which they thought would be safe this week. Both quickly made up their mind to stand with Carrie & Bo. Was it because Anthony is in the other group? Hell knows, only Scott & Constantine can answer that.

Anthony Fedorov

Anthony's is in a league of his own, he's unlike the other constantants. While Bo & Carrie can really croon to a song of their element, rock & country respectively. Vonzell is clearly a diva with that BIG voice, Scott is the more ordinary singer; i do not know what describes him best.

As for Anthony, for one who has undergone major surgery on his throat/vocal cords; he's doing very well as an amateur. I didn't think he could pull the Celine's song off, but he did.

Anyway, i think it's gonna be a all-female finale now; with Carrie & Vonzell. Though I really hope Bo makes it, but i don't think so.

Anwar Robinson sent home

This must be a joke, Anwar Robinson was sent home on AI4 last night.

He certainly wasn't the worst last night, that country b*tch; Carrie Underwood was seriously the worst this week. American Idol's appeal is wearing off me now, there isn't much talent left. I thought this season would be the best of all, but it certainly wasn't.

There was so much hype earlier that the 12 finalists are all "very telented", but it doesn't seem that way now. I hope Bo Bice wins this, though he doesn't need to win AI to get a record deal.

I just realised that I didn't post about American Idol this week, must have been too caught up with Liverpool's Champions League win.

Anyway, it was Nadia's turn this week. Well, she wasn't the worst vocalist, but not the best either. However, i felt she was better than Scott. Simon Cowell put it down to poor song selection, maybe.

Nikko OUT AGAIN

Not Again, Unexpected

So, you heard the news. Nikko Smith was voted of AI for the second time.
Well, he was the replacement for Mario Vasquez (he withdrew from AI). Nikko was originally voted off during the Top 24 rounds.

But I must say that he was the comeback kid that made good. He impressed & gave his best every week & it's the R&B flavour that he adds to the songs that make him unique & sets him apart from the other 5 guys. But, it certainly wasn't his time to go yet. He didn't sound particularly good this week, but Scott was worse; definitely.

Well, AI4 seems to have lost it's appeal to me though. I don't rush home to catch it on Channel 5, like i used to. Well, i guess it's just that it's already into its 4th instalment & the initial appeal & excitement has wore off, just like Mark Burnett's Survivor; which used to be one of my favourite reality tv shows.

I liked Anwar, but i thought he sux big time on Idol this week. Jessica was way better than him this week, but she got voted off.

Well, I guess Anwar's past performances helped him this week. Hope he steps it up next week & give a performance worthy of keeping him in the group further.

Mikalah Gordon Voted Off (Finally)

It's final, Mikalah Gordon is outta American Idol.

She should have been voted off last week, before Lindsay Cardinale. She was the worst performer for the past 2 weeks. Her version of "Love will Lead You Back" was off-key a couple of times & she can't seem to be able to reach the high notes.

To quote Simon Cowell, "her ambition exceeds her ability".

Ok, Lindsay got voted off this week on American Idol. But i thought Mikilah was the worst. Well, perceptions & judgements vary.

In all, it was a boring night. Perhaps the only ones whom took their chances were Nadia, Vonzell, Scott & Nikko. Nikko didn't do so bad with the pressure on him being labelled a sub. for Mario.

Hope Mikilah leaves next week.

I don't believe this, someone actually quits American Idol. Is this for REAL?
Apparently, it's true. Mario cited personal reasons for quitting the show & there are speculations that he's being offered a recording deal or hiding a skeleton in the closet.

Well, i figured we wouldn't know the real reason behind his quitting & there's no point speculating; unless Mario really wants to make public of the "personal reasons" he cited.

Nikko Smith is back in the Final 12 to fill his spot as he received the 2nd lowest no. of votes from last week's show. Ok, Nikko must be under alot of pressure; having to be Mario's "replacement" in the most undesirable situation.

Hopefully, he can make good of this lucky break & go on to win the title of American Idol. But, it would definitely be difficult to overcome the talent/voice quality & fan base of Anwar Robinson & Bo Bice.

Let's wait & see.

Nikko didn't Deserve to be Voted Off

It was such a pity that Nikko didn't make it to the Final 12, he was way way better than Scott & definitely Constantine. The latter had everything a pop star should be, but the voice. He's just like another bubblegum pop singers, he should do very well in a boyband. But, considering his age, he couldn't make the cut too. Hah !

I thought Constantine & Travis should have been voted off this week. But, i'm not American, i can't vote. Probably the Americans see something in Constantine which i don't see. It's just a BIG pity.

In all, i seriously feel that this is the year for the guys. Either Anwar or Bo would win this, if America vote accordingly to talent & voice quality. They are both awfully original & sounded just like recording artistes, if not better. The only female contender would be Jessica Sierra, she's the only lady whom can pose a threat to the guys. I wouldn't be surprised if the Final 4 are all guys.

Another 4 Idol hopefuls sent home

Aloha, David, Celena & Joseph were the 4 idol hopefuls voted off by America last week. Down to the final 16 hopefuls, America will vote off another 4 next week & you have your Final 12.

I thought Aloha, David, Celena & Joseph all did way better than Travis & Janay. I still don't get why Janay & Travis are still in the competition. Aloha may have picked the wrong song, but she oozes style & has lotsa potential, she's possibly another Jennifer Hudson (from AI3). Celena & David were kinda boring & i agree with the judges, they haven't be able to spring any surprises & make an impression. As for Joe, i guess his earlier performance pulled him down. He did okay this week, but his competitiors are too strong; except Travis.

If i can bring someone back to the Final 12, it would be Aloha. But, it's not gonna happen. No Wildcard Show this season.

Alright, we have our first results show of AI4. Melinda Lira, Jared Yates, Sarah Mather & Judd Harris are outta running for the title of AI.

Who would have thought? I thought Janay sounded worse than Melinda & Sarah. Janay was a bunch of nerves & I wasn't able to make out what she was singing. For Sarah, i guess it's the choice of song....she chose an up-tempo song but didn't have the voice or attitude to carry it off. As for Melinda, i'm really clueless. Maybe America doesn't like her face? Who knows...

I shadn't comment on the guys as I missed their performances. But i heard Bo & Anwar rawks!! Keep watching, i figured more surprises are in store for us.
