Cisse's Surprise Inclusion

Cisse may play for Pool against Juve

How cool is that? Cisse is included in the team that travelled to Turin to face Juve in the 2nd-leg of the quarter-final. Though like Alonso, Cisse isn't fully fit. But, he does gives Benitez other options for the strike force if the game proceeds to be in favour of Juve.

Losing Stevie G was painful, but i'm sure we would be able to do well with the 1 goal advantage gained at Anfield in mind.

Ankle Problem for Trezeguet

More good news, Juventus striker David Trezeguet is ruled out of the game to an ankle problem. That gives Pool more breathing space at the back, but we must not slacken. Juve is always tough to play against, nothing to take for granted.

I reckon we can do it. No seriously - One thing abuot liverpool is that we can rise to the occasion and a place in the semis is a good enough reason to inspire the lads. Plus we always seem to do much better in europe than back home in england.

Where do you get these pics by the way?

Hi Anonymous,
i visted that link, way too cool...bookmarked it!

Hi Dan,
if we win, we gonna face Chelsea again (they lost to Bayern Munich 3 - 2, but wins on aggregate 6 - 5). After 3 encounters with them, which i felt we sld have deserved to win...hope we nail this one against Juve & Chelsea. Pics are from www.soccernet.com

Cisse... Hmmm, I wouldn't risk him if I were Rafa. Rafa will play it right. Its up to our players to translate his instructions.

Juve's gonna go for goals in the 1st half! Not just one. The first half will be about killing the game off from the REDS.

The second half will be in defence mode for Juve. But if they have yet got a goal, they'll still attack.

We just have to shut them out. Simple really!
