Milan Baros set to Leave for Villa

Milan Baros set to leave Anfield

Milan Baros is ready to leave Liverpool with a move to Aston Villa looking more likely now.

Baros is looking to pair up with fellow Czech player, Patrik Berger if the move to Villa materializes. He has phoned Berger to check on the move to Villa Park. Baros has also been linked with moves to Lyon and Valencia but he had mixed views on the two destinations, insisting he had no intention of linking up with former Anfield boss Gerard Houllier at the Stade Gerland while admitting he would have joined Valencia had the move not broken down.

I hate to see Milan go, but hopefully the cash for his sale could see Pool securing the services of a good central defender, which we need badly.

Dan, is Baros already sold to Lyon? Why didn't see any reports on this? If it's 8.5 mil, that's helluva money.
